Buffalo wings with low fat blue cheese dip

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s hot sauce
  • 2 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 oz crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Few dashes of Frank’s hot sauce
  1. Preheat oven to 500° on convection mode if you have that option.

    Line sheet pan with nonstick aluminum foil and place the chicken wings on sheet pan and season lightly with seasoning salt

    Roast in hot oven 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown, discard any fat that has accumulated in the pan.

    While the wings are roasting prepare the blue cheese dip. 

    Place all ingredients for the dip into a food processor and puree for 10 seconds, transfer to serving bowl. 

    Place wings in a bowl and toss with melted butter and Frank’s hot sauce.

    Serve with celery and carrot sticks if desired.
